What is Eras of Wrestling?
Eras of Wrestling by Checkmate Creative is a pro wrestling general manager and booking simulator for mobile. You run a fantasy wrestling promotion through five eras of wrestling history, from the territory days to the early 2000s, booking shows, building feuds and managing a roster of original characters.

Is Eras of Wrestling free?
Yes. The Eras of Wrestling game is free to download and play on iOS and Android, with optional in-app purchases and ads. Reviewers at launch found it fully playable without spending.

What platforms is it on?
iPhone and iPad through the App Store, Android through Google Play, and Windows PCs through Google Play Games on PC.

Does it use real wrestlers?
No. Every character is original, inspired by classic wrestling archetypes and pop culture parody, with full voice-overs. There are no licensed wrestlers or promotions.

What are the five eras?
Territory Era (mid 70s to early 80s), Mania Era (mid to late 80s), Next Gen Era (early to mid 90s), Xtreme Era (late 90s) and Millennium Era (early 00s). Each era brings new characters, match types and storylines, and you decide when your promotion moves forward.

How does booking work?
Weekly shows are built from matches, mic spots and skits and lead into a monthly pay-per-view. Match ratings depend on pairings, feud heat, managers, referees, match type and each wrestler's specializations. Shows can be watched as a full animated sim, a quick comic-panel sim, or skipped.

Is it like a wrestling GM mode or a booking sim on PC?
Yes. Eras of Wrestling is a general manager style booking game built for phones: deep roster and feud management, title histories, yearly awards and a Hall of Fame, in a format you can play in short sessions.

How do I unlock new wrestlers?
Through the shop, packs, storyline events and character shards. There is a free daily pack, and daily and weekly objectives pay out currency you can spend on talent.
